Boring/Exciting Day #3

Another boring/exciting day. Joe took a few steps throughout the day and hung out in the chair. Turkey and mashed potato dinner was OK. The big news is that the Art Cart came around and replaced the creepy girl with our choice of Manet's "Bar at the Folies-Bergere". We have their phone number now in case we ever have an art emergency like the creepy girl picture again.

Welcome to Joe's Gathering, where you can get updates on how Joe's doing. Named after the Friday Gatherings which "are a remote, faint echo of the happy hour at the Old Town Tavern that used to take place, it seems like (it was in fact) decades back. There is no agenda, no theme, no structure of any kind, just old (and getting older all the time) Ann Arborites, chatting about food, drink, jobs, and whatever else is going around. There is always a bottle or two of wine on hand, and some folks bring their own. There is usually some kind of food, and again, some people are moved to bring comestibles.
